Here are a few fun things that you can do together at home to help develop different skills.
Social interaction - Family time and fun Games that will encourage turn taking and language skills
Maths fun - Simple counting games such as hide and seek are great for developing counting skills.
Shape treasure hunt - Find different shapes around the home environment, can you draw them?
Cooking and baking for developing measuring skills.
Phonics - Share rhyming stories with repetetive language together, bedtime is lovely quality time to do this.
Sing lots of songs and learn different nursery rhymes.
Speaking and listening- Lots of communication together and modeling vocabulary.
Fine motor skills fun - colouring and making marks, play dough, chalks, Finger exercises.
