Welcome to Reception!
What a great start this half-term. The children have been very busy learning all about dinosaurs, different species and their habitats. Look out for tickets on sale soon for our very own Dinosaur Museum extravaganza. Held on Tuesday 11th February. Morning and afternoon tickets will be available.
The children have been busy making and creating things ready to have in our gift shop. This week the children have made a dinosaur terrarium. The children have selected materials they wanted to use linking this to the dinosaur that they used. Using grass and leaves for herbivores. They all look fantastic.
Zoo Lab Visit
We had a fantastic Zoolab experience last week. We know so much about replies and insects that are descendants of dinosaurs.
Homework - Handed in on individual reading day (stated on reading pack).
This will include a list of activities that will help towards our vehicle topic work. This half term the children are creating a Dinosaur Museum.
Each child has an allocated reading day where their books will be changed weekly. Please sign and read regularly at home.
Phonics workbooks will also be sent home, this will help the children to practise both reading and writing the letters and sounds being taught in class.
PE - Wednesday and Thursday every week. P.E kits must be in school for these days.
The children are showing great determination and concentration when getting dressed for P.E. Practise makes perfect!
