Inspiration from artists - writing

Children from Y1 - Y6 used pieces of artwork to inspire a personal writing response. They enjoyed learning more about the previously studied artists and wrote beautifully. Well done Y1 to Y6 and thank you to Alfred Wallis, Pablo Picasso and others for providing the inspiration! 

World Book Day 

Our whole school focused on the a lovely book called 'The Lost Words' which was the winning book as voted for by child across our whole school. It proved to be an excellent choice and we saw some amazing writing, poetry and art learning based upon it. Well done to everybody.
