This term out Vehicle for Learning is 'Riveting Rivers'.

We will be learning about rivers in both geography and science. In geography we will focus on river use and morphology, and in science we will learn about the many habitats associated with rivers. Both subjects will be supported by fieldwork, where we will carry out a river survey. To foster strong cross curriculum links, we will also use some wonderful books about rivers during our daily guided reading lessons, including the beautifully illustrated 'What is a river?' by Monika Vaicenaviciene. Year 4 will be river experts in no time!
