Easter ideas. Some ideas you can take and use over the Easter Holidays if you need some activity inspiration.
Another week down with the online learning and I didn’t think I could be any prouder, until today! On Monday things were still very new and children were still adapting to the ways that learning is changing and taking place from home instead. Google classroom has come on in a huge way and now, the majority of children have been engaging well in the online lessons. Today, I believe this was our most successful lesson to date with 20 of you being online and you all got onto silver. I am super proud. I appreciate you all for the help you have given me in facilitating learning out of the classroom and enabling the distance learning to be a success.
Next week starts the Easter holidays as is specified on the calendar, I have attached alongside this email a list of things that could be done over the Easter holidays to make some family memories all together. These are not compulsory pieces of work, just some extra ideas if needed. Feel free to post any activities you have completed on SeeSaw so we can see your creativity. (The attachment is also on the website for anyone who needs it.)
I know a lot of you have already made rainbow pictures and written messages of hope and displayed them in your windows, please feel free to post these on SeeSaw also and spread the joy. We have reached 354 posts on SeeSaw which shows how hard you have been working. Well done all.
Thank you all for your continued effort and support at these testing times. As always, please email me or contact me if there is anything, I can do to assist you in anyway. I wish you all a happy and safe Easter Holidays. Stay safe, stay well and God Bless.
Hello Year 5, Parents and children!
Children, I can't thank you enough for your maturity with how you have moved forward today with your online learning tasks. Thank you for being the superstars that you always have and are continuing to be. Week 1 of Home learning was a great success and I am extremley proud of how persistant you all were to get yourselves logged online.
Google Classroom Update.
Currently I have 18 children in my online class which doesn't match the 28 I have in a classroom. I have sent out emails regarding this and if you need any help with your log on the please email me about it and we can work through it together and I will help you get the access. We will be live streaming Maths every day at 10.50am this week and I am online consistently from 8.40 to answer any problems or concerns.
I will still be uploading a video of Kensuke's Kingdom as I know a lot of you are waiting to hear what happens to both Michael and Stella! Remember to keep your love of reading alive! Recommend your books to each other when you have finished but remember... No spoilers.
I am LOVING how many of us are doing the Joe Wicks workouts to start the day! A fantastic way to start the energy flowing through and getting our mind and body active. Post a picture or a video of your workout online to see how we are getting on.
Don't forget.... Be creative! Learn a new skill, play with your brothers and sisters, make a game, an animation, create a song. You are all so creative. Showcase the talents and post them on SeeSaw. Make the world smile. Keep being you.
