Summer Term Week 10- wb 29.6.20

Monday 29th June 2020

 

  • 9.30 - 10.30am: English Live Teaching Lesson on Google Classroom. Remember I will post the link onto GC and Seesaw for you to access the Meet. This week we are starting a new unit 'Weather and Climate' that links Geography and English together. Today we will be identifying features of an information text. *I have uploaded the powerpoint at the bottom of this page for you to access for the lesson*
  • 10.30 - 11am: Break Time! Make sure you try to do something fun that doesn't relate to school or work- this could be going outside in the garden (if it's nice weather) or playing with some toys or having a snack and watching a little bit of tv.
  • 11am - 12pm: Maths Live Teaching Lesson on Google Classroom. Remember I will post the link onto GC and Seesaw. Please make sure you go onto Seesaw to access your work for today. We are continuing our unit 'Capacity'. Today we will be looking at how to measure capacity.
  • Reading- please log onto Purple Mash for your task today- Chapter 5 and multiple choice quiz about 'Queen Martha'.
  • Music- Lots of hospitals have special radio stations that people can listen to while they are staying in hospitals. Music is chosen to help patients stay positive and be happy. If you were putting together a list of songs to be played on a hospital radio station, what would the songs be and why? Write a list of songs and your reasons in your green book or on a Seesaw note.

  • French- Please download the powerpoint at the bottom of this page and then log onto Seesaw for your worksheet activity- What is in your Pencil Case? Please note- there are sounds that should automatically play on some slides to help with pronunciation of the vocabulary.

  • RE- Please download the powerpoint from the bottom of this page and complete the task in your green book or on Seesaw notes. This is our final unit: Prayer- Jesus praying to God.

  • 10.30 - 11am: Break Time! Make sure you try to do something fun that doesn't relate to school or work- this could be going outside in the garden (if it's nice weather) or playing with some toys or having a snack and watching a little bit of tv.
  • 11am - 12pm: Maths Live Teaching Lesson on Google Classroom. Remember I will post the link onto GC and Seesaw. Please make sure you go onto Seesaw to access your work for today. Today we will be recapping how to use bar charts.
  • Reading- please log onto Purple Mash for your task today- Chapter 2 and multiple choice quiz about 'The Lupe of the Pack'.
  • Art- Draw a portrait picture of yourself or someone you know. Try to use a photograph of them if you can't see them in person. Make sure you focus on their facial features and include little details such as freckles or glasses. How realistic does your portrait look? Does it look similar to their real face?
