Well done to the Year 6 Girls who competed in the Cross Country County Finals at Keele University on Friday 28th June- they truly were amazing and represented the school so well!

Also, a huge pat on the back goes to all the children for trying so hard during our Sports Day this year! It was so lovely to see so many children enjoy the day and throw themselves into every challenge they faced. Thanks to the parents and carers that came to watch, support and cheer on the children throughout the day- it was great to see so many of you there.

An update about the School Games Mark:

On Wednesday 17th July 2019, we found out that we had achieved and secured the Gold School Games Mark which is an improvement on last year's Silver ranking! Well done to all the children for continuing to show great sportsmanship in events inside and out of school, as well as a great competitive side during matches within the County.

Clubs and Upcoming Competitions:

Keep an eye out in the Autumn term as we will be sending out Sports Club letters offering a range of new lunchtime and after-school clubs for the children to attend on a first-come, first-serve basis ready for the upcoming competitions that are fast approaching! The first clubs that we will be offering are Cross Country for Years 3 - 6 and Netball for Years 5 and 6. Both of these clubs will be open to boys and girls.
